Diversity Day 2008 Film Competition
We are participating in the 2008 European Year of Intercultural Dialogue - Diversity Day 2008 Film Competition. This event is being hosted by the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) based in Vienna.
The Diversity Day 2008 Film Competition will give Young people from across Sheffield the opportunity to make a 3 minute film on any topic of diversity. Our City is very diverse and is made up from people of different cultures and faiths. Diversity also relates to people’s gender, age, disability and sexual orientation.
What will the event focus on?
- Encouraging interaction between young people from different cultural backgrounds
- Showing creativity, while reflecting on the diversity in society
- Engaging with young people in different parts of the European Union (EU)
- Promoting citizenship at a local and European level
