Corporate Policy Unit
The Corporate Policy Unit provides a corporate strategy, research, equalities and performance management function for the Council. Working directly for the Chief Executive, the unit's activities include:
- Corporate service planning, reviews, and performance management
- Carrying out Best Value reviews and service assessments
- Co-ordinating corporate policy initiatives
- Equalities work
- Urban and economic development work
- Research and management information
- Providing support for the Chief Executive and Executive Management Team.
