Voluntary Sector Liaison Team
We are a team of seven officers, who work for the Neighbourhood Renewal & Partnership Service, which is part of the Neighbourhoods & Community Care Directorate. Our role is to support the Council's strategy for working with the local voluntary and community sector by
- Managing Council funding to the voluntary and community sector;
- Developing corporate grant aid policy and practice in line with Sheffield Compact standards;
- Providing organisational development advice to Council grant aid recipients and contributing to strategic initiatives to improve the quality of grant aided services and activities across the voluntary and community sector as a whole;
- Supporting the Council’s partnership working with the voluntary and community sector through the Sheffield Compact, Funding News and Funding Forum.
