Community Buildings Team
The Council recognises that community buildings play an important role in the life of every neighbourhood. The Council has adopted a strategy that provides a vision for the development of Council owned community buildings thoughout the city over the next few years. You can download a copy of this strategy document from the bottom of this page.
The Community Buildings Team is responsible for managing a number of buildings owned by the Council and provides support for voluntary and community groups involved in managing community buildings. We are developing work within priority neighbourhoods to try and resolve some of the problems of community buildings, such as under use, poor condition and inconsistent management. The downloadable documents at the bottom of this page tell you more about the work of the Community Buildings Team and provide information about the community buildings that we manage.
To contact us call 205 3047 or email community.buildings@sheffield.gov.uk.
