Register of Members' Interests
All Councillors have to sign a declaration to abide by and uphold the City Council's Code of Conduct for Members. A copy of the Code can be viewed in the Part 5 - Codes and Protocols of our Constitution.
The Code of Conduct requires each Member to declare certain interests. These declarations form the Statutory Register of Members' Interests which the Council has to maintain. Members are required to keep their declaration up to date by informing the Council's Monitoring Officer of any changes within 28 days of the relevant event.
Members must also declare any gifts or hospitality which have been offered to them (whether or not they were accepted) over the value of £25, again, within 28 days of the date of the offer. These declarations are also retained in the Register of Members' Interests.
The Register is open for inspection by the public at the Town Hall, Sheffield, during normal office hours. To arrange to inspect the Register please e-mail Harry Clarke at committee@sheffield.gov.uk or telephone 0114 273 6183.
However, as part of the Council's commitment to demonstrating that it is as open and transparent as possible, Councillors' declarations of interest have been published and can be accessed by following the alphabetical name lists below:-
Please note that, for privacy and security reasons, Councillors' home addresses and signatures have not been included in the electronic copy of their declarations.
