Health and Community Care Scrutiny and Policy Development Board

What is the role of the Board?

The Board exercises an overview and scrutiny function in respect of  the planning, policy development and monitoring of service performance and related issues together with other general issues relating to adult and community care services, within the Neighbourhoods area of Council activity and Adult Education services. It can also scrutinise the various local Health Services functions, with particular reference to those relating to the care of adults.
