PUBLIC INSPECTION OF DOCUMENTS AND ACCESS TO MEETING
 
 
(a)
Members of the public who wish to attend the Board meeting should report to the First Stop Reception desk at the Old Town Hall, Pinstone Street entrance, where you will be directed to the meeting room.
 
 
(b)
You can see the reports to be discussed in public at the meeting if you call at the First Stop Reception, Old Town Hall, Pinstone Street entrance.  The Reception is open between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and between 9.00 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Friday, or you can ring on telephone no. 2734552.  You may not be allowed to see some reports because they contain confidential information.  These items are usually marked * on the agenda.

(d)
Board Meetings are normally open to the public but sometimes Members may have to discuss an item in private.  If this happens, you will be asked to leave.  Any private items are normally left till last.

APPEALS
 
To note that (a) the Secretary of State for Local Government and the Regions has:-
 
 
 
(i)         dismissed the decision of the City Council to refuse advertisement consent for an illuminated 48 sheet tri-vision hoarding at Parkway Central, Parkway (Case No.04/00509/HOARD;
 
 
 
(ii)        received an appeal against the decision of the City Council to refuse planning consent for the erection of an awning to the rear roof terrace of a public house at 12 to 18 Cambridge Street (Case No.04/00264/FUL); and
 
 
 
(iii)       allowed an appeal against an Enforcement Notice served by the City Council in respect of an unauthorised use of a building for a prayer room/mosque at 27 to 29 Rothay Road and granted planning consent for a temporary period until 27 February, 2005.
