WEST AND NORTH PLANNING AND HIGHWAYS AREA BOARD
Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 13th November, 2007, at 2.00 p.m. in a Committee Room at the Town Hall
PUBLIC INSPECTION OF DOCUMENTS AND ACCESS TO MEETING
(a) Members of the public who wish to attend the Board meeting should report to the First Point Reception desk at the Old Town Hall, Pinstone Street entrance, where you will be directed to the meeting room.
(b) You can see the reports to be discussed in public at the meeting if you call at the First Point Reception, Old Town Hall, Pinstone Street entrance. The Reception is open between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and between 9.00 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Friday, or you can ring on telephone no. 2734552. You may not be allowed to see some reports because they contain confidential information. These items are usually marked * on the agenda.
(c) A copy of the agenda and minutes are available on the Council’s website at www.sheffield.gov.uk.
(d) Board Meetings are normally open to the public but sometimes Members may have to discuss an item in private. If this happens, you will be asked to leave. Any private items are normally left till last.
(e) Members of the City Council can obtain further information on any of the agenda items by speaking to Martyn Riley on telephone no. 273 4008.

To report the receipt of a petition containing 47 signatures stating that Walkley Lane is now a rat run, which has an impact on the amount of traffic on Limbrick Road and Limbrick Close causing obstruction and resulting in cars parked on the pavements.
(c) Petition requesting the reinstatement of Middlewood Road and road safety measures on the diversionary routes

11. APPEALS
To note that the First Secretary of State has:-
(a) received appeals against the decision of the City Council to refuse:-
(i) under delegated powers, planning permission for:-
(A) the erection of a conservatory at 530 Loxley Road (Case No 07/02652/FUL);
(B) the use of ancillary living accommodation as a dwellinghouse and garage within the curtilage of 442 Manchester Road (Case No 07/02461/CHU); and
(C) vehicle access at 71 Far Lane (Case No 07/03023/FUL); and
(ii) at its meeting held on:-
(A) 22 May, 2007, planning permission for the extension to a cottage into a lower level stable area to form a 4 bedroom dwellinghouse and alterations to the existing cottage (Case No 06/04824/FUL); and
(B) 28 August, 2007, for the erection of 29 apartments and 79 dwellinghouses with garages/car parking spaces and new playing fields at the site of Loxley Centre, Myers Grove Lane & Wood Lane (Case No 06/04557/FUL);
(b) received an appeal against the decision of the City Council, under delegated powers, to refuse to grant a Certificate of Lawfulness for a dwellinghouse at Bank Cottage, Bank Lane, Bolsterstone (Case No 07/02797/LU1); and
(c) dismissed appeals against the decision of the City Council to refuse planning permission for:-
(i) the erection of a bungalow at 220 Oldfield Road, Stannington (Case No 06/00601/OUT);
(ii) the erection of two split level bungalows within the curtilage of 175 Wortley Road High Green (Case No 07/00388/FUL); and
(iii) the retention of a rear dormer at 22 Hammerton Close (Case No 07/00403/FUL).
