Decision:  Approval to be given to the Fees and Charges for the Trading Standards service from 1st April 2008.

Decision:  Confirmation of the decision to waive Standing Orders for an extension to Phase 2 of the Town Hall Electrical Rewiring programme.

Decision:  To note (a) the approach taken to implement the changes arising from the Mental Capacity Act 2005 including the use of the various tools and practice guidance which will be made available generally and (b) that the City Council adopts the policy on discretionary use of the Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy service in care reviews and safeguarding adults cases.

Decision:  Expenditure on the renewal of grounds maintenance machinery, the method of procurement and the means of financing to be authorised in respect of new grounds maintenance machinery for cemeteries.

Decision:  The Council will provide appropriate insurance cover for the Returning Officer and Deputies, in respect of their personal liabilities, and will indemnify the Returning Officer and Deputies in relation to the excess on the insurance in place and any uninsured losses on similar terms in relation to any election or referendum for which they have responsibility.

Decision:  Agreement to entering into contractual arrangements to extend the services of 2 consultants by 4 months and procure the services of a further consultant for a period of 4 months to support the Transforming Learning Strategy.
