Executive Director/Head Of Service: Director of Environment and Regulatory Services

Decision: That (a) the rates and prices contained within each individual tender of the following four consultants be accepted and a letter of acceptance for their appointment on a framework agreement be issued:
- Consultant D – MVA Consultancy Ltd
- Consultant E – Halcrow Group Ltd
- Consultant F – Ove Arup & Partners Ltd
- Consultant G – Faber Maunsell Ltd
(b) delegated authority be granted to the Head of Transport and Highways to commission and place orders for work as appropriate with each of the successful Consultants at the rates and prices contained within their individual tenders.

Decision: Approval to extend ‘call off’ contract set up with CDC under Band A delegation February 2006 to April 2008. Please see attached Band A approval and supporting documents.

Decision: That Sheffield City Council (a) provide funding for the recruitment of 15 Police and Community Support Officers and (b) enter into the Service Level Agreement with South Yorkshire Police attached at Appendix A.

Decision: To approve proposals that signing at ‘bus gates is both clear and legally correct, to the satisfaction of the council, the Department for Transport and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal. To approve a publicity campaign to raise public awareness of the re-commencement of camera enforcement.

Decision: That authority is given to the engagement of an external provider to assist in the improvement of standards in key stage 2.
