CABINET MEMBER: Councillor Chris Weldon
DECISION: For (a) Sheffield City Council to act as the accountable body for funding to the City’s Safer Communities Partnership – Sheffield First for Safety, some of which is pooled in the Local Area Agreement, and other elements which are ring fenced and (b) Evelyn Milne, Director of Regeneration and Partnerships, to have authority to oversee the distribution of funding and to authorise the entering into of funding agreements with such projects as shall have been decided by the Safer Communities Partnership Board.

DECISION: To declare the re-housing phase in respect of phase 2 of the Scowerdons Estate to take effect from 7th January 2008, to allow for subsequent demolition of both dwellings and garages contained in the phase for continuation of the regeneration project at Scowerdons, Weakland and Newstead (SwaN).
