EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/HEAD OF SERVICE: Director of Development Services
CABINET MEMBERS: Councillor Bryan Lodge
DECISION: That authority be granted for the council to enter into a contract with PIPS Technology Ltd for the supply of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) equipment, a contract with WCCV Ltd for the supply of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) equipment, in accordance with the quotations already received, and a Service Level Agreement with Atkins Ltd to secure Highways Agency funding. This equipment will be used to monitor journey times and queues as part of the Highways Agency’s Integrated Traffic Management (ITM) project.

CABINET MEMBERS: Councillor Tim Rippon
DECISION: To agree (a) that the appointment of consultants to develop and draft a business plan and associated funding bid for Creative Sheffield for the period April 2008 to March 2013, is likely to promote the economic well-being of Sheffield (b) to endorse the preliminary steps taken so far in relation to the appointment of consultants in order to comply with the tight timescales of this assignment and to approve the continuation of the process with a view to the evaluation panel submitting a recommendation as to the consultants to be appointed to the Assistant Chief Executive, Policy and Performance as soon as possible and (c) to note the health and safety, financial, personnel, legal and equalities implications of this proposal.
