NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) Government be recommended to direct the continued saving of those policies of the Unitary Development Plan that would remain meaningful and applicable over the period up to the adoption of the related Sheffield Development Framework documents (b) the following policies are not recommended for saving by the Government: GE26 – Water Quality of Waterways, IB4 – Land for Industry and Business, IB10 – Visitor Accommodation in Industry and Business Areas, H1 – Land Needed for New Housing, H13 – Housing Sites, CF5 – Community Benefits, MW1 – Mineral Working and MW2 – Conservation of Mineral Reserves and (c) the Government’s decision about which policies to save are published on the Council’s website as soon as possible after the Council is advised.
