NATURE OF DECISION: To give approval for the transfer of capital funding to enable installation of extract ventilation to the Dissecting Positions in the Main Post-Mortem Room and the upgrading of the Forensic Pathology Laboratory fume cupboards to the required standards, in the most cost effective way, while work to the relevant plant is ready in progress, in order to reduce the risk to staff of exposure to pathogens in line with current health and safety standards.
