EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/HEAD OF SERVICE: Director of Development Services
CABINET MEMBERS: Councillor Bryan Lodge
DECISION: Approval to sign the South Yorkshire Punctuality Improvement Partnership (PIP) with individual bus operators. The South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) intend to arrange a signing ceremony and will invite whoever the City Council decide to sign the agreements for Sheffield with each of the bus operators taking part. Similar arrangements will be made for the 3 other South Yorkshire Local Authorities. It is proposed that the Agreements are signed by the Head of Transport and Highways on behalf of the City Council.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/HEAD OF SERVICE: Executive Director, Children and Young People
CABINET MEMBERS: Councillor Harry Harpham
DECISION: To approve a short-term increase in the value of the contract with ICT training providers Electric Paper to allow extra training and testing for European Computer Driving Licence students who have part-completed the qualification through the South Yorkshire e-Learning Programme, with a view to increasing Level 2 attainment.

CABINET MEMBERS: Councillor Harry Harpham
DECISION: That (a) authority to accept the revised tender of Graham Stuart Construction Ltd in the sum of £1,185,606.23 with the variation of price clause deleted except for tax fluctuations, be granted in respect of Darnall Children’s Centre (b) authorisation for the Head of Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for this project be granted and (c) the spending profile be noted.

DECISION: That permission is sought to enter the tendering process to find a potential supplier in respect of the provision of Recruitment and Bookings Software for SESSA, negotiate implementation and maintenance costs and agree contract terms for the provision of the above software.

DECISION: That (a) authority to accept the revised tender of Graham Stuart Construction Ltd in the sum of £17,070.39 on a fixed price basis be granted in respect of the Crookesmoor Vestry Hall – Chimney Reinstatement Work (b) authorisation for the Head of Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for this project be granted (c) approval to the expenditure of £1,000.00 for “Other Work” by way of direct order and (d) the spending profile be noted.

DECISION: That (a) approval be given to enable an order to be placed with the successful contractors, Institute of Occupational Medicine (IOM), Dearle and Henderson (D&H) and Euro Environmental (EE) and (b) authorise the Head of Capacity Planning and Development to issue an order for the works to commence on May 21st 2007 in respect of the Asbestos Management Surveys.
