NATURE OF DECISION: That authority be given to potential temporary expenditure to bring forward a number of service diversions required for the New Retail Quarter and to underwrite this expenditure until English Partnerships complete the necessary agreements with the developer of the NRQ.

NAME OF CABINET MEMBER: Councillor Steve Jones
NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to (a) the CP Form A for the supply and installation of skateboarding equipment, multi-use games area, floodlighting and landscape improvements to the proposed play and sports area at Oxley Park, Stocksbridge and (b) the choice of contractors to be invited to tender.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the revised tender of N.T. Killingley Limited the sum of £119,827.88 on a fixed price basis in respect of playground improvements at Mount Pleasant Park and (ii) for the Assistant Head: Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for the project; and
(b) the spending profile be noted.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the revised tender of N.T. Killingley Limited the sum of £84,861.31 on a fixed price basis in respect of the Kettlebridge Doorstep Green Project and (ii) for the Assistant Head: Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for the project; and
(b) the spending profile be noted.

NATURE OF DECISION: That agreement be given to a capital grant of £75,000 to be made to Persistence Works from development receipts in the immediate area and enable the company to redeem a loan from the Arts Council.

NATURE OF DECISION: That the City Council agrees that the provisions of the Redundancy Payments (Continuity of Employment in Local Government, Etc.) (Modification) Order 1999 (RPMO) which relate to continuity of service for redundancy payment purposes and the provisions of the National Joint Council apply to existing and new employees who transfer to and from the City Council and Sheffield Homes at any point in time without a gap in service, either as a result of redundancy or voluntarily in accordance with the requirements of “Continuous Service - Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Homes” and that the agreement should apply retrospectively to 1st April, 2004.
