NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to restructure the staffing arrangements at the Heeley Swimming Pool in order to provide both an increased service and more secure systems.

NAME OF CABINET MEMBER: Councillor Veronica Hardstaff
NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to (a) commissioning Liberata to support the Council to undertake a full review of the schools’ broadband network and propose best value options for provision beyond April, 2006 and (b) based on the recommendations made by the review, a further Band A or report to the Cabinet be produced to request approval for the award of a new broadband contract.

NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to the proposed investment of Planning Delivery Grants available in 2005/06 and the placing of orders for IT systems and equipment, subject to approval of tenders, if applicable, and the hiring of professional services.

NAME OF CABINET MEMBER: Councillor Chris Weldon
NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) approval be given to the procurement strategy for the appointment of a company to undertake soft landscaping services and to develop a “green” social enterprise in partnership with the Southey Owlerton Area Regeneration Partnership and (b) the financial, legal, personnel, health and safety and equalities implications be noted.
