NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given for the Head of Regeneration and Development to agree details, in consultation with the City Solicitor and the 14/19 Team, of any contractual arrangements between a range of suppliers and the Local Education Authority that are deemed necessary in respect of the management and administration of the Vocational Skills Programme and enter into contractual arrangements on behalf of the Council.

NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to enter into a funding agreement with the Arbourthorne Tiddlywinks Children’s Centre, setting out the terms on which the Surestart Grant will be made available to fund the capital works and to regulate the ongoing use of the Centre once it opens, the details of which shall be agreed by the Head of the Early Years Education and Childcare Service in consultation with the Assistant Chief Executive.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) confirmation be given to the action of the Assistant Head, Sheffield Design and Project Management in inviting tenders for the Building Schools for the Future Project as listed in paragraph 4.1 of the report; (b) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of Wraith Accommodation plc in the sum of £807,768.00 on a fixed price basis, and (ii) for the Assistant Head, Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for the Project; and (c) the spending profile be noted.
