NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) the Children and Young People’s Directorate – Revenue Budget Monitoring Report Quarter 1 to June 2005 and the operation of a licensed deficit for schools of up to £1.17m, be noted and (b) confirmation be given to the Executive Director of the need to continue to identify further management action as required to maintain a balanced budget.

NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to the procurement process for the appointment of a Panel of Architects, Landscape Architects, Urban Designers and Sustainable/Renewal Energy Consultants.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of Burngreave Building Company in the sum of £354,246 on a fixed price basis in respect of Burngreave Facelift 2005/06 – Contract 1 and (ii) for the Assistant Head: Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for the project; and (b) the spending profile be noted.

NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to a temporary extension to the current contract with the Home Office in regard to the provision of Council accommodation for asylum seekers.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) the Heads of Service of the Chief Executive’s Directorate note the contents of the Revenue Budget Monitoring Report 2005/06 and continue to manage expenditure commitments in order to absorb the impact of any “in-year” pressures and (b) the Director of Corporate Resources provides an update report in October, 2005 in line with the budget reporting requirements of the financial framework.

NATURE OF DECISION: That the Chief Executive’s Directorate 2005/06 Capital Monitoring Report be noted and that in line with the Financial Framework, the Director of Resources be required to report back on the position at the end of September, 2005.
