RECORD OF EXERCISE OF DELEGATED POWERS

5TH TO 11TH AUGUST, 2004

 

 

NAME OF OFFICER:            The Executive Director, DEL

 

NAME OF CABINET MEMBER:            Councillor Gill Furniss

 

NATURE OF DECISION:            That approval be given (a) to enter into an appropriate Licence Agreement to facilitate the sustainable urban drainage scheme Deep Pits/Manor Fields work as detailed in the report; (b) to grant an appropriate easement on completion of the works to facilitate the scheme in accordance with the instruction of the Head of Property Services; (c) to the arrangements between the Head of Environment and Regulatory Services and Parks, Woodlands and Countryside and the Director of Finance to be put in place to guarantee a delivery of the necessary index-linked maintenance budget (approximately £10,000 per year in 2004) in lieu of and at the time of the acquisition of the £250,000 and for the budget to be specific to the Park.

NATURE OF DECISION:  That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of N. T. Killingly Limited in the revised sum of £125,055.81 at the rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities contained in their tender in respect of Chelsea Park Environmental Improvements and (ii) for the Assistant Head, Design and Property Management to issue a letter of acceptance for the Project; and (b) the spending profile be noted.
