NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to the appointment of GVA Grimley to provide consultancy services to prepare a Second Scheme Prospectus for submission to the Deputy Prime Minister in June, 2005.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) the contents of the Chief Executive’s Directorate 2004/05 Revenue Budget Monitoring Report be noted and Officers be requested to continue to manage expenditure commitments in order to absorb the impact of “in-year” pressures within their existing approved budget; and (b) the Director of Finance and Facilities be requested to report on the updated position in January, 2005, based upon the performance to the end of the third quarter, in line with the budget reporting requirements of the Financial Framework.

NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to (a) the Senior Manager, Regeneration and Development, entering into a Service Level Agreement with the Employment Unit in relation to Construction Provision within the Learning for Life 14 to 16 new curriculum opportunities and (b) the Director of Legal and Administrative Services agreeing to waive Contract Standing Orders in this instance for the reasons set out in Section 4 of the report.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) approval be given to the actions of the Assistant Head: Design and Project Management in adding Landscape Contract Design to the tender list for the Middlewood Park Phase 1 Project, in place of Grace Landscapes Limited who withdrew prior to tenders being issued; (b) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of Premier Landscaping Yorkshire Limited in the sum of £206,504.48 on a fixed price basis and (ii) the Assistant Head: Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for the Project; and (c) the spending profile be noted.
