NATURE OF DECISION:            That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of Kier Sheffield LLP in the sum of £764,239 with the variation of price clause deleted except for tax fluctuations in respect of Birley Spa Nursery Infant and Junior School and Birley Community College provision of Integrated Resource Unit and (ii) for the Acting Head of Sheffield Design and Property to issue a letter of acceptance for the Project; (b) approval be given to the expenditure of £1,000 for "other work" by way of direct order; and (c) note the spending profile.
