NAME OF CABINET MEMBER: Councillor Angela Smith
NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) the Education Directorate's Capital Programme 2004/05 (Month 6) Monitoring Report be noted; and (b) approval be given to the expenditure as authorised in the attached CPAs for new/revised expenditure of £9m giving a Programme in excess of £25.65m for future years.

NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to the costed proposals in relation to the use of the anticipated capital receipt in respect of the former Myrtle Springs School, to be implemented following receipt of funds from the proposed developer and for the anticipated receipt to be utilised to (a) provide the earmarked capital receipt to the Education Capital Programme, (b) provide security fencing and gateways to the retained public open space, a children's play area, preparation of the existing football pitches for continued use by local clubs and (c) carry out works to the surface of the tennis courts as costed in the report.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) the report on Air Quality Supported Capital Expenditure 2004/05 be noted; (b) the implementation activities of the Air Quality Action Plan outlined in the report be endorsed; and (c) approval be given to the CP4 form.

NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to the purchase of new replacement length measuring equipment and the attached CP form A be approved subject to (a) the Head of Corporate Finance arranging appropriate leasing facilities and (b) the leasing rentals being funded from within existing budgets.
