NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) approval be given for the North Midland Construction PLC to tender for the Cookson Park Phase 1 Project in place of Leisuremark Limited who withdrew before the tenders were issued; (b) authority be given to accept the tender of North Midland Construction plc in the sum of £369,522.59 on a fixed price basis; and (c) the spending profile be noted.

NATURE OF DECISION: That approval be given to (a) allocate Learning and Skills Council (LSC) funding to the main providers of Adult and Community Learning, (b) allocate grants to voluntary and community organisations or schools to provide or facilitate adult and community and/or family learning and (c) allocate grants to voluntary and community organisations provided under the Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities Funding Stream.

NATURE OF DECISION: That the Senior Manager, Regeneration and Development, be authorised to enter into contract with the organisations detailed in the report in respect of Engineering provision within the Learning for Life 14/16 New Curriculum Opportunities to the cumulative value of £76,700 and the Director of Legal and Administrative Services has agreed to the waiving of contract Standing Orders in this instance for the reasons set out in Section 4 of the report.
