NATURE OF DECISION:            That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the Stage 2 negotiated tender of Wates Construction Limited in the sum of £8,042,812.11 in respect of the Special (EBD) schools and (ii) for the Assistant Head: Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for the Project; (b) approval be given to the expenditure of £435,000 for "Other Work"; and (c) the spending profile be noted.

NATURE OF DECISION:  To authorise the Senior Manager, Regeneration and Development, to enter into a limited tender exercise in respect of The Sheffield College, Tritec, Thomas Rotherham College, Sheffield Hallam University IT Foundry, Wyvern Training Limited, Rotherham College of Arts and Technology and Dearn Valley College.

NATURE OF DECISION:            That (a) the Heads of Service note that the Chief Executive's Directorate 2003/04 Revenue Budget Out-Turn shows an underspend of £0.607m against the approved budget of £40.255m; (b) a request be made to the Cabinet for approval of the carry-forward of the £0.134m underspend relating to the Grant-Aid Budget, which would be earmarked as originally intended, to support local voluntary and community sector organisations; and (c) the Heads of Service note that should the carry-forward identified above be approved by the Cabinet, the underspend will reduce to £0.473m.
