NAME OF OFFICER: The Head of Housing Strategy
NAME OF CABINET MEMBER: Councillor Chris Wheldon
NATURE OF DECISION: That authority be given (a) to award a contract in relation to consultancy services to assist Transform South Yorkshire in the monitoring and evaluation of its Programme to the University of Birmingham Centre for Urban and Regional Studies for the purpose and on the terms outlined in the report and (b) for the waiving of Standing Orders for the reasons outlined in the report.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of DSM Demolition Limited in the sum of £214,870 at the rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities contained in their tender in respect of the Winn Gardens Tower Block Demolition and (ii) for the Assistant Head: Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance for the Project; (b) approval be given to the expenditure of £73,000 for "Other Work" by way of Direct Order and (c) the spending profile be noted.

NAME OF CABINET MEMBER: Councillor Angela Smith
NATURE OF DECISION: To approve the revision of the Education Directorate Capital Programme to take account of slippage of £0.52m from 2003/2004 to 2004/2005 and to approve the expenditure as authorised in the Project Report Forms CP3 for the new/revised expenditure of £0.20m giving a Programme in excess of £48.65m for future years.
