NATURE OF DECISION:  That (a) authority be given for the Director of Legal and Administrative Services to apply for a scheme to permit the disposal of Blackamoor/Blacka Plantation on such terms as are agreed by the Director, to the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust; and (b) to advertise the draft scheme proposed by the Charity Commission to the public and interested parties in accordance with the Charities Act.

NATURE OF DECISION:  To approve proposals for the appointment of Impower as Consultants to assist in the development and adoption of a Council-wide Public Service Access and eGovernment strategy.

NATURE OF DECISION:  That (a) based on the evaluation procedure set out in paragraph 5 of the report relating to Barkers Pool and City Hall precinct, authority to accept the Stage 1 Notional Tender of Contractor B - Wrekin Construction Company Limited to undertake the Stage 2 duties for a fixed price of £21,122.41 be granted; and (b) subject to the approval of the Health and Safety Documentation, authorisation for the Assistant Head:  Design and Project Management to issue a letter of acceptance to enable Stage 2 negotiations to commence on the 14th May, 2004 be granted.

NATURE OF DECISION:  To (a) approve the contract strategy for the tendering of a Home to School Transport Contract for pupils with special educational needs in six special schools by external contractors; and (b) agree to continue the provision for transport for three special schools presently provided by the Council's Transport and Commercial Services,  to remain with the Council, subject to a review of these contracts with the other routes operated by Transport and Commercial Services at the end of December, 2004.
