NATURE OF DECISION: To waive Council Standing Orders and instruct MVA Consultants to provide data from the 2002 Sheffield and Rotherham SATURN model in support of the revised Annexe E Submission for the Halfpenny Transportation Initiative. The additional cost of £20,000 to be funded from the 2003/04 Local Transport Plan Settlement.

NATURE OF DECISION: Approval be given to accept the tender of ARUP in respect of consultancy services in connection with the Transportation Study for the Upper Don.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of Ackroyd and Abbot Limited in the sum of £1,200,910 with the variation of price clause deleted except for tax fluctuations in respect of Manor Lodge School Remodelling and (ii) the Acting Head of Sheffield Design and Property to issue a letter of acceptance for the project;
(b) approval be given to the expenditure of £27,500 for “other work” by way of direct order; and
(c) note the spending profile.

NATURE OF DECISION: To approve (a) the revision of the approved Capital Programme 2003/04 to take account of slippage of £1.05m from 2003/04 to 2004/05; and
(b) the expenditure as authorised in the Project Report Forms CP3 for new/revised expenditure in excess of £14.5m.

NAME OF CABINET MEMBER: Councillor Chris Weldon
NATURE OF DECISION: To approve the selection of a partner Black and Minority Ethnic Registered Social Landlord for the regeneration of Fir Vale.
