NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) the action of the Acting Head of Sheffield Design and Property in issuing tender documents to the five contractors listed in the report in relation to the Sheffield Inner Relief Road - Ground Investigation, be confirmed;
(b) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of John Moxlem t/a Soil Mechanics in the sum of £147,239 at the rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities contained in their tender and (ii) for the Acting Head of Sheffield Design and Property to issue a letter of acceptance for the project; and
(c) note the spending profile.

NATURE OF DECISION: That the contract for access improvement works at woodlands at Ewden Valley, Low Bradfield and Rivelin from June 2003 to October 2003 be awarded to FACE Enterprises Limited.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) approval be given for the Green Spaces Regeneration Project as outlined in the report and to the Project Report Form CP3; and
(b) officers be authorised to proceed with letting the contract as follows - (i) the contract for landscape design work at Middlewood and Busk Meadows Park be awarded to Gross Max, (ii) the contract for landscape design work at Cookson Park to be awarded to Lyn Kinnear Landscape Architects and (iii) the contract for landscape design work at Wolfe Road to be awarded to Landscape Design Projects.

NATURE OF DECISION: To give approval for the Ove Arup Consultancy to undertake a study of taxi access and "rank" requirements in and around the City Centre. Study is sponsored jointly by the City Council and Sheffield One but also links to the ongoing appraisal work for the proposed New Retail Quarter development. Expenditure of approximately £15,000 to be funded from 2003/04 Supplementary Local Transport Plan budget.
