NATURE OF DECISION: That subject to the approval by the Head of Corporate Occupational Health and Safety of the Health and Safety Policy and Safety Document for the Firth Park Community Arts College Music Suite Project, (a) authority be given (i) to accept the negotiated tender of Wildgoose Construction Limited for the Project with an agreed maximum price of £552,945.96 with the variation of price clause deleted except for tax fluctuation, (ii) for the Acting Head of Design and Property to issue a letter of acceptance for the Project to enable works to commence on 14th April, 2003 and (iii) to Standing Order C.2.4 being waived in this instance and the adoption of a negotiated procedure under Standing Order C.2.6 for the purpose of this Project only; and (b) the spending profile be noted.
