NATURE OF DECISION: To approve (a) the revision to the approved Capital Programme 2002/03 month 12 monitoring report in respect of the Education Directorate to take account of slippage of £5.474m from 2002/03 to 2003/04 and (b) the expenditure as authorised in the Project Report Forms CP3 for new/revised expenditure in excess of £2.912m.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the negotiated tender of Thyssen Construction Limited (Phase 1) in the sum of £97,987 at the rates and prices in the Schedule of Works contained in the Contract in respect of the reinstatement of Playing Fields at Rivelin Primary School, (ii) to accept the tender of Bernhards Landscapes (Phase 2) in the sum of £27,659.50 at the rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities contained in their tender and (iii) for the Acting Head of Design and Property to issue letters of acceptance for the Project; and (b) note the spending profile.
