NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of Tilen Electrics Limited in the sum of £442,342.06 on a fixed price basis in respect of the 2003/04 Housing Revenue Account: Cyclical Maintenance Budget (Electrical Testing Contract 1 2003/05) and (ii) for the Acting Head of Sheffield Design and Property to issue a letter of acceptance for the project; and
(b) note the spending profile.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the tender of Kier Sheffield LLP in the sum of £517,602 with the variation of price clause deleted except for tax fluctuations in respect of the Chapeltown Partnership Office Refurbishment and Remodelling Scheme and (ii) for the Acting Head of Sheffield Design and Property to issue a letter of acceptance for the project;
(b) approval be given to the expenditure of £8,200 for "Other Work" by way of direct order; and
(c) note the spending profile.

NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) authority be given (i) to accept the negotiated tender of Carillion Construction Limited in the sum of £1,147,368 in respect of Castlegate Phase 2, Enabling Works and (ii) to waive Standing Order C.2.4 relating to competitive tendering procedures and adopt negotiated tendering procedures under Standing Order C.2.6;
(b) confirmation be given to the actions of the Acting Head of Sheffield Design and Property in issuing a letter of acceptance for the project;
(c) approval be given to the Project Report Form CP4; and
(d) the spending profile be noted.
