NATURE OF DECISION: That (a) the Education Directorate Revenue Budget Monitoring Report to June 2003 be noted;
(b) the Executive Director be requested to continue to take any necessary action in order to retain a balanced budget; and
(c) approval be given to the operation of a licensed deficit for schools of up to £1,048,000.

(b) that the distribution of the funding to the above organisations during the academic year 2003/04 may be split across two financial years 2003/04 and 2004/05; and
(c) the waiving of Standing Orders requiring tenders/quotations for service providers.
