Public Inspection of Documents and Access to Meetings
Council Meetings are open to the public. Admittance to the public gallery can be gained via the First Point Reception, Old Town Hall, Pinstone Street. Details of the business to be transacted can be viewed in advance at the First Point Reception which is open between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and between 9.00 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Friday, or you can ring on telephone no. 2734552. A copy of the Council Summons and any reports are also available on the Council’s website at www.sheffield.gov.uk.
Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Sheffield will be held in the Council Chamber within the Town Hall, Sheffield, on Friday, 7th March, 2008, at 2.00 p.m. for the purpose of approving a Revenue Budget and Capital Programme, and setting the Council Tax for the financial year 2008/2009 and related issues.
The following business is to be transacted:-
1. Revenue Budget And Capital Programme 2008/09, And The Corporate Capital Strategy 2007 And The Three Year Forward Capital Programme 2008/11
To consider so much of the minutes of a meeting of the Cabinet held on 13th February, 2008, arising from their consideration of a report on the Revenue Budget and Capital Programme 2008/2009, and the Corporate Capital Strategy 2007, and the Three Year Forward Capital Programme 2008/11 and to pass such resolutions thereon as may be deemed expedient.
2. Working Neighbourhoods Fund
To consider so much of the minutes of a meeting of the Cabinet held on 13th February, 2008, arising from their consideration of a report on the Working Neighbourhoods Fund and to pass such resolutions thereon as may be deemed expedient.
3. Resourcing Delivery of the Local Masterplan
To consider so much of the minutes of a meeting of the Cabinet held on 13th February, 2008, arising from their consideration of a report on Resourcing Delivery of the Economic Masterplan and to pass such resolutions thereon as may be deemed expedient.
4. South Yorkshire Local Transport Plan – Strategic Approach To Development And Local Allocations
To consider so much of the minutes of a meeting of the Cabinet held on 13th February, 2008, arising from their consideration of a report on the South Yorkshire Local Transport Plan – Strategic Approach to Development and Local Allocations, and to pass such resolutions thereon as may be deemed expedient.
5. Sheffield First Agreement 2008/11
To consider so much of the minutes of a meeting of the Cabinet held on 27th February, 2008, arising from their consideration of a report on the Sheffield First Agreement 2008/11 and to pass such resolutions thereon as may be deemed expedient.
