SOUTH AREA PANEL

Meeting to be held on 20th January, 2004, at 6.30 p.m. at the
Woodseats Methodist Church, Holmhirst Road, off Chesterfield Road

(Doors open at 5.45 p.m.; tea, coffee and biscuits served 5.45 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.)

There are to be displays about the work of the Area Panel over the last year and an opportunity to give your views on local priorities for your Neighbourhood. Information about the construction of the highway improvements through the Woodseats Shopping area is also to be displayed.

3.	AREA CO-ORDINATOR’S REPORT
	Isobel Howie, Area Co-ordinator to update the Panel on key local issues and
	the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund

4.	PROMOTING PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE COUNCIL’S SERVICES
	Julie Bullen, Head of Public Service Access to update the Panel on the
	City Council’s plans to improve service access and delivery, including the
	Council’s web site, telephone services and the development of local ‘First
	Point Receptions’ for face to face access.

5.	HIGHWAYS UPDATE
	Cate Jockel & Richard Day, Transport Planning Officers, to update the
	Panel on the Woodseats Centre highway improvements and other highway
	schemes in the area

6.	INFORMATION ITEMS

	(a) Minutes of meeting of Area Panel held on 19th November, 2003.

	(b) Minutes of Gleadless Area Housing Meeting held on 17th December, 2003;

	(c) Minutes of South Area Housing Meeting held on 9thDecember, 2003

	To note that the next meeting of the Panel is to be held on 17th March, 2004 at 6.30 p.m. at Base Green Tenants’ Hall, Frith Road, off Hollinsend Road.
