AREA CO-ORDINATORS REPORT
PURPOSE OF REPORT
To update Members on progress in the implementation of the Area Plan, identify key issues of importance to the Area and answer any outstanding questions
OUTSTANDING QUESTIONS
Q Could the Council's Highways Management Services investigate the traffic risks at the junction of Machon Bank Road and Barkers Road, to see if any action could be taken in terms of road safety improvements.

Area Panel Special Meeting on Resident Parking in Sharrowvale/Sharrow
Attached as appendix 1, are the notes of this meeting
Planning Applications
A number of Planning Applications have been submitted and some have now gone through Area Board. These include:
- The Gordon Lamb site on Summerfield/Napier St for apartments
- Land owned by Arnold Laver off Chippinghose Rd.for apartments
- The conversion of a cutlery works on Edmund Rd. for apartments
- The Building of a 10 storey Hotel on Bramall Lane by Sheffield Utd. Football Club
