Children's Social Work Vacancies

We have a number of opportunities for Social Workers of all levels of experience to join Children’s Fieldwork Services in Sheffield. We have created a number of extra posts to ensure that our Social Work teams have manageable caseloads and can deliver the best care and support to children and their families in Sheffield.

We have an excellent track record of developing Social Workers to become team managers but if the traditional career route isn’t for you then we are also developing new roles that will either allow you to stay in front-line practice or to take a role in developing others.

 

For less experienced and newly qualified Social Workers we are part of the national Newly Qualified Social Worker and Early Professional Development pilots. These are designed to provide training and support to Social Workers in their first 3 years of practice, providing a foundation from which to become outstanding practitioners.
