Comprehensive Area Assessment
The Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) has been published. The CAA assesses the city rather than ourselves, which is the key difference to the previous Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA).
Although different to the CPA, the CAA is the primary assessment of us carried out by the Audit Commission. This in effect is the national assessment of us.
Performing Well
We have been categorised as a Council that is performing well. This means that we achieved an overall score of three out of a possible score of four.
Sheffield's assessment is available on the Oneplace website. (Please note, the website may be slow to load at the moment, due to the high levels of people trying to access the site.)
That assessment covers all our services, but also comments upon how we are helping to achieve positive results for the city, with public sector partners including the NHS and Police, among others.
