What is the Supporting People programme?
The aim of the Supporting People programme is to improve the quality of support to vulnerable people, to ensure that they have the opportunity to live more independently. In Sheffield, the programme is administered by the Housing Independence Service.

How to Give Us Your Feedback
Talk to us
We aim to help all those who wish to give us feedback at the point where that service is provided. If you are not happy with a service you are getting, please tell the person you are dealing with.

We aim to acknowledge all feedback within 5 working days of receipt (or 3 working days for e-mail contacts).
When you contact us with a question or complaint, we aim to respond in full within 20 working days of receipt. If we cannot give you a full answer in that time, we will let you know what we have done about your complaint, and when you can expect a full reply.
We have a customer charter, which lays down the key principles for all our staff in providing services to internal and external customers. You can download a copy of this charter from the documents at the bottom of this page.
Every 6 months, we publish a summary of feedback that we have received, and tell you what we have done as a result of that feedback.
