The Ann Craft Trust
A UK based organisation working with staff in the statutory, independent and voluntary sectors to help protect people with learning disabilities who may be at risk from abuse. They offer impartial advice on issues relating to the protection of vulnerable adults and children. You can contact them about general issues, and they are also happy to give advice about specific cases. If they cannot answer your question they will try to find you the most appropriate person to talk to about your concerns.
Disabled Workers Co-operative
A registered charity that helps disabled people to help themselves. Their aim is to raise the independence of disabled people (for those that want it) by enabling them to take an active role in the economy and achieve a greater sense of self-worth, and also to raise awareness of the contribution that disabled people can make to society.
