What's New
This page brings you the latest news about Supporting People in Sheffield.
December 2007: Self-directed support
Self directed support is a way of delivering social care that helps people to be in more control of their care. It's about returning control to people, so they can make decisions about the help they receive. This means a move away from services provided nine to five, five days a week, meaning help is provided closer to when it is needed. For more information, see the self-directed support pages on the Council’s website.
