Service User Engagement Project
Sheffield Supporting People Partnership has a strong commitment to residents and service users having a say in the service they receive. Voluntary Action Sheffield has been commissioned to promote opportunities for service user engagement.
The work has focused on two areas –
- Researching good practice in Sheffield and elsewhere
- Training support providers on promoting service user engagement
Voluntary Action Sheffield have produced a report about the work carried out so far. You can view or save the report from the document list at the bottom of this page.
An information pack for support providers with ideas on how to involve service users, has also been produced. You can view or save the information pack from the document list at the bottom of this page.
On the document list at the bottom of the page you will also find the Sheffield Service User Involvement Strategy.
The work to encourage service user engagement is continuing, with a particular focus on enabling service users to have an input to the development of the five year Supporting People Strategy.
