Directories of Supported Accommodation in Sheffield
The Supporting People programme is committed to providing a better quality of life for vulnerable people to live more independently, and to maintain their tenancies. The programme provides housing-related support to prevent problems that can often lead to hospitalisation, institutional care or homelessness, and can help to smooth the transition to independent living for those leaving an institutionalised environment.
Locally, the programme is managed by the Supporting People team in Sheffield City Council, which contracts with about 70 organisations to provide housing-related support to clients in around 250 different services.
There is currently a range of directories available for supported housing projects in Sheffield, and we have included links to some below:

Sheffield 1-1 Project.
1-to-1-Sheffield was created for the Vulnerable People Task Group to help vulnerable people and the agencies that support them in Sheffield City Centre. The Sheffield 1-to-1 Project website, has a directory of all kinds of services for roofless, homeless and vulnerable people using Sheffield City Centre.
Website for people with learning disabilities
A new website, Sign Post Sheffield, has been launched by Sheffield City Council to help people with learning disabilities and their families, carers, friends and care workers to find out more about the services provided by the Council and Sheffield Care Trust.
