Customer Service Charter

The Council has a Customer Service Charter that describes the standards you can expect when you contact any of our services.

Sheffield's Better Care Higher Standards Charter

This charter is written by Sheffield City Council and Sheffield’s health organisations. It explains how we will work together to provide you with the information you need to access long term care services in the city. To find out more about the Charter click on the link on the left.

Equal Opportunities

Sheffield is a city with many different communities.  The Council recognises, celebrates and values the diversity that exists amongst the citizens of Sheffield and our workforce as a positive contribution to the quality of life in the city. The Council recognises that disadvantage and discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, sexual orientation, age and disability are barriers to achieving equality for all people. The Council will allocate resources and work with partners to overcome these barriers to include all of its workforce and the people of Sheffield in the development and delivery of the best possible services.
