Joint Strategic Needs Assessment
Our first Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) identifies the health and wellbeing needs of the people of Sheffield. It summarises our current analysis of those needs and sets out the process we will follow to develop and improve the assessment in the future. It will inform the joint planning and commissioning of services to meet these needs over the next 10 years.
We will use this to start discussions on the key priorities to help us produce a more detailed assessment later this year. We welcome the widest possible range of feedback and value your comments. The document can be downloaded below. To get the best from this document you will need to view it electronically as it contains automatic links to other supporting information.

Strategies
Assistive technology is equipment which helps to monitor lifestyles and to maintain independence. It has an important role in helping us achieve our vision to enable all vulnerable adults to remain independent and in their own homes for as long as possible. The Assistive Technology Strategy sets out our intentions for the development of electronic assistive technology until the end of 2010. Your views on the content and matters of accuracy are welcome and will be considered as part of the review process.
