Meet the Team
Service Manager – David Bussue
David Bussue has a background in children’s social work, both field and residential.
He has worked in both the Statutory and Independent sectors as a commissioner and service provider.
He also has youth justice, fostering, and adoption experience.
On a voluntary basis, David is a Trustee of Pitsmoor Youth Housing Trust, a voluntary sector charity providing housing to vulnerable young people. He is also Assistant Treasurer of SACMHA - Sheffield African Caribbean Mental Health Association.

Team Manager North East Area Assessment - Karen Walker
Karen Walker has a background in nursing and in children’s Social Work.
She has been involved in the full range of social work practice since the late 80’s, and has specialised in assessment work since the mid 1990’s.
On a voluntary basis, Karen is the Assistant Secretary of SACMHA - Sheffield African Caribbean Mental Health Association.

Team Manager North West Area Assessment - Robert Snape
Robert Snape has a background in the mining industry, community relations, and in youth work.
He retrained in social work following the closure of the mines, and has experience of the full range of social work practice.
Robert has specialised in assessment work since the late 1990’s.
On a voluntary basis Robert is involved with a young people’s ice hockey team.

Team Manager – North West Family Support - Yvonne Briggs
Yvonne Briggs has a long history in social work and has worked for a number o local authorities.
Yvonne has experience of both adult and children’s services, and also fieldwork and family support teams.
Yvonne also has residential social work experience.

Team Manager – North East Family Support - Tommy Doyle
Tommy Doyle has recently celebrated 25 years working for Sheffield City Council as both a Social Worker and a Manager in a variety of settings.
Tommy has a background in the army, prior to retraining as a social worker.
His experience spans most aspects of social work, including residential work with children and young people.

Team Manager – Multiple Heritage Service - Mado Khan
Mado Khan has a background in women’s refuge work, community work, and managing the SureStart Plus Programme aimed at the issues of Teenaged Parents.
Mado also previously managed the Home Visiting Service prior to taking up her present role managing the Multiple Heritage Service, and leading its development.

Team Manager Home Visiting Service - Sally-Ann Wright
Sally-Ann Wright has a background in play work and community work.
Sally-Ann was a Home Visitor the was promoted to Senior Home Visitor, prior to taking over the role of Team Manager. Her experience of the service at all levels gives her a unique insight into the issues facing both service users and Staff. Sally-Ann utilises this experience to the fullest effect in the management of her Team and Service.
