How to Contact Social Services

FIRST POINT is the Council one-stop-shop in the city centre where you can go to speak to someone about any Council service including social services.

First Point is based at Howden House and is open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. You or someone on your behalf can call in to speak to a member of staff during these times.

Hospital Social Work Teams

Social work services may also be provided to patients in hospitals and their families. Speak to the ward staff for more information.
