Getting Help from Social Care Services
From 1st August 2005, Social Care Services in Sheffield are provided by two Directorates.
Adult Social Care Services are provided by the Neighbourhoods and Community Care Directorate.
Children and Young People’s Social Care Services are provided by the Children and Young People's Service.

- We need carers for our family placement services - to provide family based care to adults and children who need support in the community
- We need foster carers and adopters from different religious backgrounds - you don't have to be wealthy, own your own home or be married
