We have produced a useful child abuse booklet called, ‘How you can help if you think a child is being harmed’. This information will help you to understand what child abuse is and how to get help if you think a child you know is being abused.

Every Child Matters
Also available is The Department of Health's best practice guidance booklet 'What to do if you're worried a child is being abused'. This publication is targeted at all staff who come into contact with children, parents and families in the course of their work.
