Information Evening

This page provides information about the open evenings our Adoption Service runs for people considering adopting a child.

 

 

We run information evenings throughout the year so that you have the opportunity to get more information on what it's like to adopt and to meet adopters and ask any questions you may have.  The evening will start with a short presentation about the kind of children who need to be adopted in Sheffield, after this you will be able to talk to adopters and staff about what adoption is really like, and anything else you would like to know.

 

The evening is open to all, we ask that you arrive by 6pm.

 

If you are interested in adoption and wish to find out more please come to an information evening at the Quaker Meeting House in Sheffield City Centre from 5.45pm - 8pm.  We look forward to seeing you there.

 

We have now run all of our open evenings for 2008.  The 2009 open evening dates are below.  If you do not want to wait until 2009 to attend an open evening and would like more information now please contact us.

 

It would be helpful for us to have an idea of numbers for each open evening, so if you are able to, please complete the online form before arriving at one of the above meetings.
